for you to send your goods to our warehouse.
Cross Docking
Cross docking is a practice in logistics of unloading materials from an incoming trailer and loading these materials directly into outbound trucks, with little or no storage in between. While it’s certainly not a new strategy, a recent survey tells us that cross docking is gaining momentum as manufacturers and retailers look to reduce transportation costs and increase service levels by increasing the speed of product to their customers.
Cross docking specifically reduces handling costs, operating costs and the storage of inventory, while simultaneously improving the products arrival time to the distributer and, in result, to the customer as well. Are you part of the cross-docking movement?
